Create your Smart Home Account
Overview

As you are setting up your new system, you will have three account passwords:

  • Smart Home website password - Here, you will be able to view your billing and monitoring account, and access support.
  • Alarm system portal - On this site, you will configure and customize your system.
  • Voice password - This password is used by our monitoring center in case of emergency to verify that you are the account holder.

We recommend making your Smart Home website password and alarm system portal password the same, so that they will be easier for you to remember and manage.

Account Setup

Here is a step-by-step guide to setting up your Smart Home website account for billing and account management.

Step 1
  • Have your AAA Smart Home account number and verbal password ready. You can get this from your agreement, or by contacting our Member Experience team at (800) 669-7779.
  • Visit AAA.com/SmartHome
  • From the homepage, find the member icon in the upper right corner and click on it. Select the option for Create Account from the drop-down.
Step 2
  • This will bring you to the account setup screen. Here you will create your username and password.
  • Start by creating a unique username and password. Fill in the remaining cells with your information.
Step 3
  • Click on 'Click Here' to read the Terms and Conditions. A pop-up window will appear for you to accept.
Step 4
  • Once you accept the Terms and Conditions, the pop-up will disappear and take you back to the New User screen.
  • Next, click on the Create Account button.
  • Congratulations, you have created your online account.
Step 5
  • Now you need to link your account. Under the Accounts section, fill out the cells. You will need your account number and verbal password for this section. Once you fill these out, click on Submit.
Step 6
  • Don’t be alarmed if you see an error message. If you are able to see these tabs at the top of the screen, you are logged in and just need to click on these tabs to access account information. You can now view your billing information.
Step 7
  • Congratulations, your account has been linked. You may be given the option to add your account again. However, you have already completed this step. If you have more than one account, you may link it by using this option.
  • If you see an error, you will need to reset your password by contacting our Member Experience team at (800) 669-7779.
